Sorting of types of logins

Hi
Would it be possible to think of a better way to note who has logged in? I speak not of the list at the top of the page but those that appear during use of the quicknotes feature. Since each type of login, either normal, or on Zone by Phone is only indicated by either two or three stars respectively, I find it quite hard to differentiate between the different types.

This has come about because I don't usually bother to look at ZBP logins, and I have set my screenreader not to speak punctuation as this is very time consuming and actually makes JAWS sound more realistic when reading.

It has also come to my attention that there seem to be a lot of blank lines between each entry in this list. Is this just my settings?
I am thinking perhaps these two login groups could be separated by headings.
What do people think?
Thanks, Erica.

Frankly, I'm not sure what you are talking about, but I don't pay attention to zbp much.

That said, your logic makes sense: if not sorted differently, how about another distinguishing mark than an asterisk, preferably a mark that would be spoken by a screen reader.

I don't quite understand why it matters how people log in. I don't pay attention to how many stars my screen reader says. In fact, I have publics turned off more than on, so I rarely am even aware of who has logged in or out. I just don't get what the big deal is.

Quicknote messages are displayed in the order that they're sent. Logins are considered to be quicknote messages. If you don't want to see them, you can edit your Quicknote Filter settings from the My Account section of the site.

Personally, I believe this to be an appropriate use of the quick note filters, accessible from your 'account settings.' You can choose to disregard logins (both to the site and to the phone system), logouts of the same ilk, and probably a few more things I'm forgetting.

Happy filtering!
